The purpose of this issue of Allpanchis is to broaden the discussion around the protagonists of Andean history, whose trajectories can and should be studied in detail from various perspectives.Hemos querido dedicar este número a algunos actores sociales que protagonizaron dos momentos decisivos de la historia peruana: el período expansivo culminante del incanato y la etapa de exploración, demarcación y asentamiento territorial de las expediciones conquistadoras. La reciente historiografía se ha enriquecido en buena medida con investigaciones sobre diversos agentes involucrados en ambos procesos históricos, profundamente conectados.
