The present study describes the cases of 3 preschool children whose pieces were rehabilitated with zirconia crowns. They were followed up in the short term, where the evaluation of the gingival index (GI), plaque index (PI), marginal adaptation (AM) and IHOS, for the evaluation of gingival health and oral hygiene was considered. It was found that the preformed zirconia crowns allowed the recovery and preservation of the health of the gingival tissues of the children evaluated.En los últimos años, se han desarrollado alternativas estéticas a las coronas metálicas preformadas debido a la alta demanda por parte de los padres para proporcionarles a sus niños restauraciones que les brinden una apariencia natural a los dientes deciduos. El presente estudio describe los casos de 3 niños pre escolares cuyas piezas fueron rehabilitadas con coronas de zirconia. Se les realizó un seguimiento a corto plazo, donde se consideró la evaluación del índice gingival (IG), índice de placa (IP), adaptación marginal (AM) e IHOS, para la evaluación de la salud gingival e higiene oral.
