To extract fetal capillary blood and newborn has followed the techniques proposed by Saling and Astrup.Se presenta un estudio del equilibrio ácido-básico en sangre capilar arterializada de 30 fetos a término, durante el trabajo de parto y a la hora de vida extrauterina. Cada una de las gestaciones seleccionadas ha sibo considerada normal teniendo en cuenta factores maternos, fetales, del trabajo de parto, y dependientes de la placenta, cordón y del recién nacido a fin de descartar toda patología que pudiera alterar el equilibrio ácido-base fetal y, por ende, del recién nacido.
