The most frequent were: colpitis ectropion 77.7% and 78.1%. A case of microinvasive carcinoma was found in a patient with grade cytology 2. The percentage of benign images was 77.6% and 7.1% suspicious images.Se ha hecho 251 exámenes colposcópicos a pacientes seleccionados de los Consultorio Externos de los Servicios de Gíneco-Obstetricia del Hospital del Niño, encontrándose mayor incidencia en pacientes de 21 a 40 años, igual incidencia en gestantes y no gestantes, relativa igualdad de presentación de procesos colposcópicos. Los procesos más frecuentes fueron: colpitis 77.7% y ectropion 78.1%. Se encontró un caso de carcinoma microinvasivo en una paciente con citología grado 2.
