Dr. Bazul remarks that this procedure has its better indication in the cases of placenta previa centralis, and advices about the type of anesthesia according to the status of both the mother and fetus.Esta es una revisión de las indicaciones, posibilidades y limitaciones de la operación cesárea segmentarias, el autor presentó este tipo de procedimiento en el Perú en 1937; sobre la base de su experiencia personal que ha preparado este artículo no dirigida a la obstetra sino para el cirujano general se enfrentan con la necesidad de este tratamiento quirúrgico.
