In Group II, 20 patients with SUI were operated on by the endoscopic suspension of the bladder neck (Stamey procedure) with 95% of cure. The result suggested that the endoscopic suspension of the bladder neck is superior to the Marshall-Marchetti-Krantz procedure in the surgical treatment of stress urinary incontinence.Los autores comparan los resultados obtenidos con las técnicas de Marshall-Marchetti-Krantz y la suspensión endoscópica del cuello vesical en el tratamiento de la incontinencia urinaria de esfuerzo. En el Grupo I, 30 pacientes fueron operadas utilizándose cisto-uretropexia retropúbica con un índice de cura del 84%. En el Grupo II, 20 pacientes fueron sometidas a la suspensión endoscópica del cuello vesical con un porcentaje de cura de 95%.
