Anesthesia and spinal election was overall combination.Se ha efectuado un estudio sobre 45 casos de cesárea-histerectomía total operadas por el autor en el Departamento de Ginecología y Obstetricia del Hospital General Base Cayetano Heredia, y se compara los resultados obtenidos en esta serie con los 4,598 casos reportados en la literatura mundial. Se describe algunas innovaciones efectuadas a la técnica operatoria clásica, haciendo especial mención en los pasos operatorios con la finalidad de disminuir la hemorragia intra operatoria.
