One of the effects is the violation of the rights to sexual and reproductive health, which is expressed in exclusionary and violent practices, thus violating the human right to a life free of violence. The Gender Inequality Index (GDI) measures gender gaps in Peru, addresses this problem in the aspect of sexual and reproductive health as an important variable of human development.
