Although the existential analytic plays a significant role in both solutions, I argue that the shift of perspective between these works was a result of the introduction of Spinoza’s concept of conatus.En el presente artículo explicaremos el proceso que permitió que Ricoeur pudiera aplicar la ontología aristotélica del acto y la potencia a su hermenéutica, y de qué manera dicho desarrollo le brindó una solución especulativa a la aporética del tiempo. En este proceso distinguiremos dos soluciones alternativas: la solución poética dada en Tiempo y narración y la especulativa desarrollada en La memoria, la historia, el olvido.
