The author analyzes the organization and structure of the court, as well as the shortcomings and difficulties it faces in the development of its services. The article contemplates the analysis of resolutions where it is possible to appreciate the state of the courts, that is, the lack of administrative personnel and the observations on the measures adopted. In view of this, the author proposes possible solutions to the problems evidenced in her research with the aim of being able to attend to cases involving minors with speed. Finally, she highlights the shortcomings of the guardianship institutes and the relevance of having the Civic Training Center in order to provide social and educational work.El presente trabajo comprende un estudio sobre el Juzgado de Menores del Callao. La autora analiza la organización y estructura del juzgado; así como las carencias y dificultades que atraviesa en el desarrollo de sus servicios. El artículo contempla el análisis de resoluciones donde se permite apreciar el estado de los juzgados, es decir, la carencia de personal administrativo y las observaciones a las medidas adoptadas respecto a los menores. Ante ello, la autora plantea posibles soluciones a los problemas evidenciados en su investigación con la finalidad de poder atender con celeridad los casos que involucran a los menores.
