The proposal of liberating education will be addressed in view of the need to reflect on the pandemic intercourse, and two elements emphasized in the author’s work will be analyzed in depth: voice and body. Based on the example of online reflection groups conducted with nursing students, a pedagogical strategy capable of recognizing and valuing the voice of different actors in the educational process is presented, prioritizing the meeting beyond the presence traditionally defended in training spaces: an encounter that waits, resists and fights for the possibility of genuine presence.El objetivo de este ensayo crítico es problematizar la categoría presencia abordada como una de las condiciones esenciales de la educación liberadora en la propuesta de la escritora afroamericana bell hooks (1952-2021), teniendo como referencia la educación remota en la pandemia. Se abordará la propuesta de educación liberadora ante la necesidad de reflexionar sobre la pandemia, y se analizarán en profundidad dos elementos enfatizados en la obra de la autora: la voz y el cuerpo. A partir del ejemplo de los grupos de reflexión online realizados con estudiantes de enfermería, se presenta una estrategia pedagógica capaz de reconocer y valorar la voz de los diferentes actores en el proceso educativo, priorizando el encuentro más allá de la presencia tradicionalmente defendida en los espacios de formación: un encuentro que espera, resiste y lucha por la posibilidad de una presencia genuina.O objetivo deste ensaio crítico é problematizar a questão da categoria “presença” abordada como uma das condições essenciais da educação libertadora na proposta da escritora afro-americana bell hooks (1952-2021), tendo como cenário de referência a educação não presencial desenvolvida no trânsito pandêmico. Será abordada a proposta da educação libertadora diante da necessidade de refletir sobre o intercurso pandêmico, sendo analisados em profundidade dois elementos enfatizados na obra da autora: a voz e o corpo.
