The increasingly widespread use of this kind of therapies suggests that subjectivity has not only achieved greater importance in today’s contemporary anthropological conception, but also that it is strongly connected to the notion of corporality and to an aesthetics-politics that enhances the contemporary analytical scope of the concept of biopower.En este artículo se estudian los principales rasgos antropológicos implícitos en la concepción de la terapia floral y se analiza su uso como expresión de una forma de saber emocional que revela cambios respecto del modelo de control de los afectos, característico del proceso de civilización propuesto por Norbert Elias. El uso cada vezmás difundido de este tipo de terapéuticas sugiere que la subjetividad no solamente ha ganado importancia en la concepción antropológica contemporánea, sino que se encuentra fuertemente ligada a la noción de corporalidad y a una estético-política que amplía el alcance analítico contemporáneo del concepto de biopoder.
