The purpose of this paper is to analyze the most important ministerial decisions reached in Buenos Aires, and to give a brief insight into the nature of the problems that were addressed in such decisions.La Organización Mundial del Comercio es una institución que, a la fecha, cuenta con más de 20 años de existencia. La última conferencia ministerial, celebrada en Buenos Aires en diciembre del año 2017, ha planteado algunos retos que deben ser abordados por todos sus miembros, no solo con el objetivo de fortalecer el sistema multilateral de comercio, sino también para llevar a buen término la Ronda de Doha, iniciada en el año 2001.
