The study corresponds to a quantitative approach of quasi-experimental design applied to a sample of 52 students. The results of the research showed that after the application of Kahoot, the effects in the experimental group showed statistically significant differences, since most students were at the satisfactory achievement level, with a considerable decrease in the number of students at the level prior to the start and at the beginning; on the other hand, the control group maintained almost homogeneous results from one level to another.La investigación permitió demostrar el efecto de la herramienta Kahoot en el desarrollo de la competencia construye interpretaciones históricas en estudiantes de segundo de secundaria de una institución educativa del distrito Socabaya ubicada en la región Arequipa. El estudio corresponde a un enfoque cuantitativo de diseño cuasi experimental aplicado en una muestra de 52 estudiantes. Los resultados de la investigación mostraron que después de la aplicación de Kahoot; los efectos en el grupo experimental manifestaron diferencias estadísticamente significativas, ya que la mayoría de estudiantes se encuentraron en el nivel de logro satisfactorio disminuyendo considerablemente la cantidad de estudiantes en el nivel previo al inicio e inicio; en cambio el grupo control mantuvo resultados casi homogéneos de un nivel a otro.A investigação permitiu-nos demonstrar o efeito da ferramenta Kahoot no desenvolvimento da competência constrói interpretações históricas nos estudantes do segundo ano do ensino secundário numa instituição de ensino no distrito de Socabaya, localizado na região de Arequipa. O estudo corresponde a uma abordagem quantitativa de concepção quase experimental aplicada a uma amostra de 52 estudantes.
