Sumario:Chile has been the epicenter of a political and social conflict that has brought with it the expression of violence that has put the institutions of the Republic in trouble. In this sense, it seems relevant to reflect on the causes of this phenomenon. In this regard, we have chosen the erosion of the social fabric as the central element of analysis that reveals the disrespect among compatriots, the levels of frustration on the part of the Chilean population, the lack of political representation of political-social demands and Above all, the need to rethink the country’s political structure, and the design of public policies in order to reconstitute the torn social fabric.
