In addition to conducting a brief tour of theoretical concepts central to research such as "socio-territorial movements" and "identity", we are dedicated to unraveling the details of ethnographic work describing in detail the implementation of the techniques used (observation participant and interviews), their potential and risks. At the same time, we deepened the tensions that were faced during the research process, while emphasizing refl exivity as an essential tool of the social researcher.En este trabajo se exponen algunas reflexiones que surgen a partir de la realización de una etnografía en un movimiento socioterritorial de carácter ambiental que resiste al modelo agrario vigente en una mediana ciudad argentina. Además de realizar a modo introductorio un breve recorrido por conceptos teóricos centrales en la investigación como son el de “movimientos socioterritoriales” y el de “identidad”, nos dedicamos a desentrañar los pormenores del trabajo etnográfico describiendo detalladamente la implementación de las técnicas empleadas (observación participante y entrevistas), sus potencialidades y riesgos.
