Raised the problem, this paper analyzes each case in which the Constitution requires the Congress approval, considering the doctrine, the Peruvian practice on the matter, as well as the rules in force and normative proposals.Este trabajo presenta la problemática en torno a la aplicación de los artículos 56 y 57 de la Constitución Política del Perú, referidos a los supuestos en los que un tratado requiere o no ser aprobado por el Congreso de la República antes de que el presidente manifieste el consentimiento del Estado en obligarse por él.
