In that sense, the article argues that society is complicit and collaborates with the structures of domination and dependence that persist in the American continent. In that context, from the author’s perspective, oppression and dependence should not be studied as abstract events, but as concrete concepts that directly affect society. Due to this, the article teaches us that complicity is a dynamic and difficult to understand manifestation. Thus, to overcome the structures of oppression and achieve human liberation, it requires, in addition to a collective action, a critical reflection of this phenomenon.En este trabajo, el autor examina las formas de complicidad que se gestan en las estructuras de dominación, así como la manera en la que estas formas pueden ser empleadas para mantener el poder. En esa medida, el artículo sostiene que la sociedad es cómplice y colabora con las estructuras de dominación y dependencia que persisten en el continente americano. En ese contexto, desde la perspectiva del autor, la opresión y la dependencia no deben ser estudiados como eventos abstractos, sino como conceptos concretos que afectan directamente a la sociedad. Debido a lo mencionado, el artículo nos enseña que la complicidad es una manifestación dinámica y difícil de comprender.
