It will be highlighted that the implementation of «alternative» juvenile justice systems has not resulted in a decrease of juveniles in the closed system, on the contrary, more juveniles have been drained into the three juvenile justice systems.Este artículo busca analizar la evolución en los tres sistemas de justicia juvenil en el Perú en el periodo que se extiende del año 2010 al año 2022. Se estudian las tendencias y las características en los tres sistemas. A su vez se investigan las interrelaciones entre los tres sistemas para presentar una hipótesis general que intenta exponer las razones de la evolución descrita. Se concluye que la implementación de sistemas de justicia juvenil «alternativos» más abiertos no ha logrado disminuir la cantidad de jóvenes en el sistema cerrado.
