But this digital transformation, which has been talked about for some years, has had an impact on the behavior of entrepreneurs, but also on consumer behavior and the way they react to technological trends, taking into account that The App has been incorporated into all business processes of all business sectors, so analyzing a sector such as small and medium-sized companies could give us an overview of what impact the use of App has on the business objectives of SMEs. This study seeks to analyze the behavior of mobile application users of small and medium-sized companies in the city of Tacna and how these have impacted on business decisions in Tacna SMEs, what advantages and disadvantages do these offer for small and medium-sized companies entrepreneurs as well as for consumers.Hablar de aplicaciones móviles es hablar de App. De acuerdo a lo publicado por AppBain , en su sitio oficial, al momento de la redacción de este artículo, se contabilizan un total de 3’036,608 aplicaciones móviles, solo, para para el sistema operativo Android, de la cuales el 16% son consideradas de baja calidad. Y es que las tecnologías de información, sumadas a los dispositivos móviles, se han convertido para muchas empresas en una oportunidad de mejora para sus procesos de negocio ya que ofrecen una ventaja competitiva si es que estas son utilizadas de manera correcta. Pero esta transformación digital, de la cual se viene hablando desde hace algunos años, ha tenido un impacto en el comportamiento de los empresarios, pero también en el comportamiento del consumidor y en la forma como reaccionan a las tendencias tecnológicas, tomando en cuenta, que las App, se han incorporado en todos los procesos de negocio de todos los sectores empresariales, por lo que analizar un sector como el de las pequeñas y medianas empresas, nos podría dar una visión general de cuál es el impacto tiene el uso de App en los objetivos de negocio de las PYMES.
