(Foncodes, 2013) As of 31 December 2018, PAME's financial assets amounted to 454,867 loans for a total value of 1,429 million soles. The geographical coverage is 23 departments, 122 provinces and 771 districts. At the end of December 2018, 51.0% of loans were for women entrepreneurs, 55.7% for the two highest poverty quintiles, 72.7% for working capital and 77.3% for rural areas. (Midis et al., 2018) With these achievements, the FONCODES - Banco de la nación trust fund has contributed to the creation, development and strengthening of formal credit markets for financial services to vulnerable and previously disadvantaged groups in society, based on mutual trust between consumers and financial institutions. (Foncodes, 2013).A través de un fondo de préstamos financiado por el Banco Nacional y el Fondo de Cooperación para el Desarrollo Social (FONCODES) del Gobierno peruano, el Programa de Promoción de la Pequeña y Microempresa (PAME) otorga préstamos a las pequeñas y microempresas de las zonas rurales y periurbanas excluidas del sistema financiero formal para que desarrollen actividades productivas, comerciales y de servicios, recurriendo a instituciones financieras con experiencia en microfinanzas, dando prioridad a las mujeres empresarias. (Foncodes, 2013) A 31 de diciembre de 2018, los activos financieros de PAME ascendían a 454.867 préstamos por un valor total de 1.429 millones de soles. La distribución geográfica es en los 23 departamentos, 122 provincias y 771 distritos. A finales de diciembre de 2018, el 51,0% de los préstamos eran para mujeres empresarias, el 55,7% para los dos quintiles más altos de pobreza, el 72,7% para capital de trabajo y el 77,3% para zonas rurales.
