The type of research was qualitative with a non-experimental design at a correlational level. Regarding the data collection technique and instrument, the interview and the interview guide were used, respectively. Being a qualitative research, it was decided to interview four managers of recognized companies in the city of Tacna. After applying the instrument, it was concluded that companies value and highlight the aspects related to the creation and transmission of knowledge in their organizations, which is why they generate spaces for dialogue, training and grant recognition since they consider knowledge management as a success factor. business by improving the work environment and corporate identity.El presente artículo titulado “La valoración de la gestión del conocimiento como pieza fundamental del éxito en las empresas del sur del Perú, en el año 2022”; tiene como objetivo principal determinar si el empresario valora los aspectos relacionados al conocimiento en sus organizaciones y como esta gestión coadyuva a mejorar el clima organizacional de las empresas a través del fortalecimiento de su identidad corporativa. El tipo de investigación fue cualitativa de diseño no experimental de nivel correlacional. En cuanto a la técnica e instrumento de recolección de datos, se utilizó la entrevista y la guía de entrevista, respectivamente. Al ser una investigación cualitativa se optó por entrevistar a cuatro gerentes de empresas reconocidas de la ciudad de Tacna.
