Sumario:A global trend to guarantee the achievement of learning in public schools is the quality of education and this has to do with the way in which the director leads the agenda for school management, who must have not only empathy and skills but also his training and improvement must be in line with the dynamic global changes. In this sense and observing some precariousness in the IE 5168 Rosa Luz de Puente Piedra Lima, it is that I approached this investigation to analyze if there is a relationship between managerial skills and the evaluation of school management. For this, a quantitative approach, hypothetical deductive method, correlational design, the use of two questionnaires, one for each variable and a probabilistic sample, gave us as a result using descriptive and inferential statistics for the hypothesis test through Spearman's Rho coefficient that the competences directives are significantly related to the evaluation of school management.
