In the face of a context that demands the formation of individuals with a broad perspective of the world, the Association of Universities Entrusted to the Society of Jesus in Latin America (AUSJAL) promotes intercultural dialogue through various projects. One such project is Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL). This essay presents the systematization of a COIL experience, from its design to its implementation. Students and professors from the Central American University José Simeón Cañas (UCA, El Salvador) and the Jesuit University of Guadalajara (ITESO, Mexico) achieved learning objectives related to values such as solidarity, social justice, intercultural dialogue, and the formation of individuals committed to building a more inclusive world. The COIL methodology involved: flexible duration, groups of students sharing tasks and projects, an initial activity, synchronous or asynchronous interaction, and group reflection on the shared experience. The systematization of this experience has a qualitative approach, assuming social phenomena from the perspective of the participating actors. The results showed that the exchange between students from different countries allowed them to collaboratively construct, in a virtual environment, an academic text that argued their position on social issues, aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), from an intercultural perspective. The participants achieved common goals, built collaborative learning networks, and expressed improvement in their skills for respectful and empathetic communication that enriched them interculturally, allowing them to identify points of convergence regarding other contexts, from a regional perspective. |

Uno es el Aprendizaje Colaborativo Internacional en Línea (COIL, por sus siglas en inglés). Este ensayo presenta la sistematización de una experiencia COIL, desde su diseño hasta su implementación. Estudiantes y profesoras de la Universidad Centroamericana José Simeón Cañas (UCA, El Salvador) y de la Universidad Jesuita de Guadalajara (ITESO, México) alcanzaron objetivos de aprendizaje relacionados con valores como solidaridad, justicia social, diálogo intercultural y formación de personas comprometidas con la construcción de un mundo más inclusivo. La metodología COIL implicó: flexibilidad de duración, grupos de estudiantes compartiendo tareas y proyectos, actividad inicial, interacción sincrónica o asincrónica y reflexión grupal recuperando la experiencia compartida. La sistematización de esta experiencia tiene un enfoque cualitativo, asumiendo los fenómenos sociales desde la mirada de los actores participantes. Los resultados evidenciaron que el intercambio entre estudiantes de distintos países les permitió construir colaborativamente, en un entorno virtual, un texto académico que argumentó su posición frente a problemáticas sociales, alineadas a los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible de la ONU (ODS), desde una perspectiva intercultural. Las personas participantes alcanzaron objetivos comunes, construyeron redes de aprendizaje colaborativo y expresaron mejoría en sus habilidades para una comunicación respetuosa y empática que les enriqueció interculturalmente permitiéndoles identificar puntos de encuentro respecto de otros contextos, desde una mirada regional.Diante de um contexto que exige a formação de pessoas com uma perspectiva ampla do mundo, a Associação de Universidades Confiadas à Companhia de Jesus na América Latina (AUSJAL) promove o diálogo intercultural através de diversos projetos. Um desses projetos é a Aprendizagem Colaborativa Internacional Online (COIL, pela sigla em inglês). Este ensaio apresenta a sistematização de uma experiência COIL, desde o seu design até a sua implementação. Estudantes e professores da Universidade Centro-Americana José Simeón Cañas (UCA, El Salvador) e da Universidade Jesuíta de Guadalajara (ITESO, México) alcançaram objetivos de aprendizagem relacionados a valores como solidariedade, justiça social, diálogo intercultural e formação de pessoas comprometidas com a construção de um mundo mais inclusivo.
