The objective of the study was to analyze the evidence on strategies for developing social-emotional skills and their impact on learning and school adjustment. A literature review was conducted of 25 scientific articles that addressed teaching strategies, programs, and theoretical approaches. The inclusion criteria were: publications in Spanish and English, empirical studies published between 2020 and 2024, that discussed strategies or programs for developing social-emotional skills in educational contexts, and that analyzed the impact of these strategies on student learning and/or school adjustment. The systematic search for studies was conducted in the databases: Scopus, Dialnet, and Google Scholar, considering the keywords “social-emotional learning,” “emotional intelligence,” “academic performance,” “school adjustment,” among others. Among the results, the studies support that the development of social-emotional skills, through teaching strategies such as social and emotional learning, positively impacts learning, school adaptation, and student well-being. These strategies strengthen key dimensions of emotional intelligence, such as self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, and relationship management. It is concluded that integrating the development of social-emotional skills into the school curriculum is relevant, through the implementation of comprehensive programs and teaching strategies that involve students, teachers, families, and communities. This contributes to the formation of more resilient students, with better self-regulation and adaptation skills, which results in more effective learning and school adjustment. |

Se realizó una revisión bibliográfica de 25 artículos científicos que abordaban estrategias didácticas, programas y enfoques teóricos. Los criterios de inclusión fueron: publicaciones en español e inglés, estudios empíricos publicados entre 2020 y 2024, que abordaran estrategias o programas de desarrollo de habilidades socioemocionales en contextos educativos, y que analizaran el impacto de dichas estrategias en el aprendizaje y/o el ajuste escolar de los estudiantes. La búsqueda sistemática de los estudios se realizó en las bases de datos: Scopus, Dialnet y Google Académico considerando las palabras claves “aprendizaje socioemocional”, “inteligencia emocional”, “rendimiento académico”, “ajuste escolar”, entre otras. Entre los resultados los estudios respaldan que el desarrollo de habilidades socioemocionales, a través de estrategias didácticas como el aprendizaje social y emocional, impacta positivamente en el aprendizaje, la adaptación escolar y el bienestar de los estudiantes. Estas estrategias fortalecen dimensiones clave de la inteligencia emocional, como la conciencia de uno mismo, la autogestión, la conciencia social y la gestión de las relaciones. Se concluye que es relevante integrar el desarrollo de habilidades socioemocionales en el currículo escolar, mediante la implementación de programas y estrategias didácticas integrales que involucren a estudiantes, docentes, familias y comunidades. Esto contribuye a la formación de estudiantes más resilientes, con mejores habilidades de autorregulación y adaptación, lo cual redunda en un aprendizaje y ajuste escolar más efectivo.O objetivo do estudo foi analisar as evidências sobre estratégias de desenvolvimento de habilidades socioemocionais e seu impacto na aprendizagem e no ajuste escolar. Foi realizada uma revisão bibliográfica de 25 artigos científicos que abordavam estratégias de ensino, programas e abordagens teóricas. Os critérios de inclusão foram: publicações em espanhol e inglês, estudos empíricos publicados entre 2020 e 2024, que discutissem estratégias ou programas de desenvolvimento de habilidades socioemocionais em contextos educacionais e que analisassem o impacto dessas estratégias na aprendizagem e/ou no ajuste escolar dos estudantes. A busca sistemática pelos estudos foi realizada nas bases de dados: Scopus, Dialnet e Google Acadêmico, considerando as palavras-chave “aprendizagem socioemocional”, “inteligência emocional”, “desempenho acadêmico”, “ajuste escolar”, entre outras. Entre os resultados, os estudos apoiam que o desenvolvimento de habilidades socioemocionais, por meio de estratégias de ensino como a aprendizagem social e emocional, impacta positivamente na aprendizagem, na adaptação escolar e no bem-estar dos estudantes. Essas estratégias fortalecem dimensões-chave da inteligência emocional, como a autoconsciência, a autogestão, a consciência social e a gestão de relacionamentos. Conclui-se que é relevante integrar o desenvolvimento de habilidades socioemocionais no currículo escolar, por meio da implementação de programas e estratégias de ensino abrangentes que envolvam estudantes, professores, famílias e comunidades.
