For this, four variables of analysis have been taken into consideration: general criteria (referring to the headline and introductory text), elements and characteristics of investigative journalism, narrative construction and aspects related to the Christian Life Sodality. Based on this, it is proposed as a methodology to first analyze the reports individually and then land them in a general analysis of the coverage. The conclusion presented determines that the reports of the Sodalicio case respond to a journalistic investigation where it is possible to identify different elements of this discipline, as well as the use of a discursive line that corresponds to literary journalism. Finally, testimonies and data are presented that denounce abuses within the institution.El presente trabajo de investigación busca conocer y analizar las características de los informes de investigación publicados como parte del caso Sodalicio en el diario La República. Para ello, se han tomado en consideración cuatro variables de análisis: criterios generales (referido al titular y texto introductorio), elementos y características del periodismo de investigación, construcción narrativa y aspectos relacionados al Sodalicio de Vida Cristiana. A partir de ello se propone como metodología analizar en un primer momento los informes de manera individual para luego aterrizarlos en un análisis general de la cobertura. La conclusión que se presenta, determina que los informes del caso Sodalicio responden a una investigación periodística donde es posible identificar distintos elementos propios de esta disciplina, así como el uso de una línea discursiva que corresponde al periodismo literario.
