On this occasion we show the case of a patient with epidural abscess caused by cranioencephalic trauma and neurosurgical management.El traumatismo craneoencefálico es un evento ocasionado por la fuerza sobre el continente que guarda al contenido cerebral, que hace que la inercia ocasione lesiones por aceleración y desaceleración produciendo hemorragias y/o fracturas Estas pueden generar una serie de complicaciones como el absceso epidural que al estar muy cerca al cerebro constituye una emergencia, siendo complejo su manejo y seguimiento.
