A clinical discussion is made emphazising the nosographic, etiopathogenic and therapeutic implications of the case being published. Se presenta el caso de un varón de 49 años con sintomatología úlcero-necrótica en zonas expuestas, claramente asociada al frío. El estudio inmunoelectroforético del suero y plasma, conservados a 37°C y de sus precipitados y sobrenadantes después de sometidos a 4°C, muestran presencia de crioglobulina en el precipitado constituida por doble paraproteína tipo Ig G, con cadenas livianas tipo Kapapa. En el precipitado del plasma se detectó la presencia de criofibrinógeno. Se ubica el caso dentro del grupo de crioglobulinemias, revisando conceptos actuales nosográficos y etiopatogénicos.
