Tomados juntos, estos factores impiden que tanto las empresas como los emprendedores se relacionen y cooperen de manera eficiente. En base a los hallazgos, la tesis recomienda que las empresas PYME deben reducir su excesiva dependencia de lazos fuertes, ya que es menos probable que dichos lazos impulsen su crecimiento e innovación. Por otro lado, se sugiere a los emprendedores equilibrar y diversificar sus esfuerzos de creación de redes empresariales mediante la utilización de lazos más débiles, ya que estos tienen mayor probabilidad de impulsar la innovación.The study points up the pervasive influence of incompetence and even corruption among government-run institutions, banks, and the entrepreneurs themselves. Taken together, these factors inhibit firms from networking efficiently. Finally, based on the findings, the thesis recommends that the studied firms should reduce their excessive dependence on strong ties, as such ties are less likely to boost growth and innovation.
