description En esta investigación se presenta un trabajo descriptivo sobre las características del uso del verbo en pacientes afásicos no fluentes, en una muestra de 6 pacientes, con diagnósticos de afasia de broca y transcortical motora. Se aplicó el test de Boston para recaudar información sobre el habla espontánea, respuestas de denominación, repetición de oraciones y frases. La información sobre el habla espontánea fue extraída de la descripción de una lámina. La repetición de oraciones y frases se realizó con 12 items, las respuestas de denominación con 7 items, también se recaudó información adicional a través de la repetición de 8 oraciones y 12 verbos, haciendo un total de 39 items. Los datos fueron analizados con las características propias de la estadística descriptiva en tablas de frecuencia. Se realizó un análisis sobre las producciones verbales y errores en relación al modo verbal, aspecto, tiempo, persona y número. Los resultados muestran con claridad que las tareas verbales son las de mayor alteración en pacientes afásicos no fluentes en estudio, en la mayoría de casos, los pacientes sustituyen al verbo propiamente dicho, por verbos impersonales como el infinitivo y el gerundio, en otros casos, se ve alterada la estructura del verbo en relación a los fones o las vocales. El presente estudio, confirma los resultados de las investigaciones que se tomaron como antecedentes. Palabras claves: Afasia no fluente, verbo, test de Boston

Test was applied to Boston to collect information on spontaneous speech, naming responses, repetition of sentences and phrases. Information was extracted spontaneous speech from the description of a sheet. The repetition of sentences and phrases are made with 12 items, naming responses with 7 items, additional information is also collected through the repetition of sentences 8 and 12 verbs, making a total of 39 items. Data were analyzed with the characteristics of descriptive statistics in frequency tables. Analysis was performed on oral production and errors in relation to the verbal mode, aspect, tense, person and number.
