Con este propósito se utilizaron los nueve factores del modelo TQM del estudio de Benzaquen (2014) como patrón de nivel de calidad total, cuyo cuestionario de 35 preguntas se utilizó a fin de obtener un alcance sobre la situación actual de las empresas manufactureras con y sin certificación en Sistemas de Gestión de la Calidad SGC (ISO 9001, HACCP, BPM, entre otras) sobre la base de una muestra de 50 organizaciones, con un 74% de empresas certificadas y un 26% de empresas sin certificación. La investigación mostró evidencias de que existe una relación positiva entre los SGC y la TQM debido a que existen diferencias significativas entre los niveles de calidad de las empresas que cuentan con certificación SGC frente a las que no, para ocho de los nueve factores del modelo.

To that effect the nine TQM model factors of the Benzaquen study (2014) as a standard level of total quality were used, for which the 35-question questionnaire was replicated in order to get a scope on the current situation of the manufacturing firms with and without certification in Quality Management System QMS (ISO 9001, HACCP, GMP, etc.) based on a sample of 50 organizations, which own 74% of certified companies and 26% of companies without certification.
