El enfoque utilizado fue fenomenológico, se realizó cinco entrevistas semi-estructuradas y a partir de ello, se buscó conocer los significados que le atribuyen a la vivencia de su feminidad a lo largo de su vida; considerando su trabajo como un factor particular. Se organizó lo hallado en tres áreas que configuran su feminidad en la actualidad: a) feminidad en mujeres trans a lo largo de la vida, b) vivencias de violencia en el desarrollo de la feminidad trans y c) miradas que aceptan la identidad de género trans. En general, se reconoció una feminidad con características particulares pero que no dista de aquellas que suelen estar más vinculadas al modelo de feminidad hegemónica. Se encontraron modelos de feminidad en las distintas etapas de desarrollo, un entorno particularmente violento y presente en el desarrollo de su feminidad; así como grupos, como el trabajo, familia y amigos, que pueden ser muy beneficiosos para su salud mental cuando reconocen y validan sus identidades como mujeres trans. Se espera que esta investigación sea un aporte, desde la práctica clínica, para el pedido de despatologización de las identidades trans en los manuales de diagnóstico, así como una evidencia de que el reconocimiento de la diversidad en distintos espacios, puede generar beneficios en la salud física y mental de las personas y de la sociedad en general.

The approach used was phenomenological, five semi-structured interviews were carried out and, from that, and the aim was to know the meanings attributed to the experience of her femininity throughout her life; considering their work as a particular factor. It was organized in three areas that shape their femininity today: a) femininity in trans women in the course of life, b) experiences of violence in the development of transgender femininity and c) views that accept gender identity trans. In general, a femininity with particular characteristics was recognized, but it is not far from those that tend to be more related to the model of hegemonic femininity. Models of femininity were found in the different stages of development, a particularly violent and present environment in the development of their femininity; as well as groups, such as work, family and friends that can be very beneficial to their mental health, since they recognize and validate their trans identities.
