description Se estudia las trayectorias laborales de estudiantes egresados de la universidad UNSAAC en Cusco, en particular las estrategias laborales que les permiten insertarse y permanecer en el mercado laboral de su interés. En un contexto de estrechez del mercado laboral y expansión de la cobertura educativa en todos los niveles en el Perú, la investigación se pregunta por los factores diferenciales de los bachilleres partiendo de la migración como uno relevante. Junto a estas se incluye la importancia de variables culturales como el uso de redes de capital social para seguir la promesa del mito del progreso educativo. Se encuentra nuevas variables que influyen en la trayectoria laboral, así como las dinámicas detrás de las variables culturales previstas en el marco teórico.
