Para llevar a cabo la investigación se utilizó el Cuestionario de apoyo social percibido (MOS) para conocer la percepción del apoyo percibido y el Cuestionario de Afrontamiento ante el Dolor Crónico Reducido (CAD-R) para las estrategias de afrontamiento. Los resultados encontraron una relación significativa, aunque baja, entre las dimensiones de Apoyo social percibido y las estrategias de afrontamiento. Adicionalmente, las dimensiones de apoyo social emocional y ayuda material correlacionaron con las estrategias de afrontamiento de religión y catarsis.

To carry out the research, the Perceived Social Support Questionnaire (MOS) was used to know the perception of perceived support and the Coping Questionnaire for Reduced Chronic Pain (CAD-R) for coping strategies. The results found a significant, albeit low, relationship between the dimensions of perceived social support and coping strategies.
