En lo referente a temas regulatorios se analizan brevemente los retos que este servicio impone tanto al sector telecomunicaciones como al sector financiero, particularmente en temas de acceso de nuevos operadores, seguridad, protección al consumidor y reglas de contabilidad. Finalmente, se revisa también experiencias de banca móvil en distintos países.
