Lima: INGEMMET, 194 p.https://hdl.handle.net/20.500.12544/1272194 páginas.En el año 2000, el Ingemmet, como parte de sus estudios regionales, inició la elaboración del Atlas Geoquímico del Perú con la finalidad de conocer el comportamiento de los elementos químicos presentes en los sedimentos de corriente de la red de drenaje del Orógeno Peruano. Los trabajos de campo y gabinete de la presente obra tuvieron una duración de dieciséis años y se culminaron en el 2015. Como resultado se generó información geoquímica de 22,928 muestras de sedimentos de corriente a lo largo del Orógeno Peruano. La gestión moderna de los recursos naturales requiere del conocimiento geológico, en particular de información geoquímica actualizada de las cuencas hidrográficas. En ese sentido, el Atlas Geoquímico del Perú constituye un instrumento de gestión para la prospección minera, líneas base geoambiental, geología médica, procesos de zonificación ecológica económica y ordenamiento territorial.
