description Existe un intenso y creciente uso de los bienes y servicios del GEMCH. Para garantizar un uso sostenible de estos, sin perjuicio de los ecosistemas en donde se aprovechan, es importante avanzar respecto de la implementación del enfoque ecosistémico y la integración multisectorial en los procesos toma de decisiones, regulación y control. Estos procesos deben ser participativos y tener en cuenta siempre las características abióticas,bióticas y humanas relacionadas con los recursos y ecosistemas marinos, así como la variabilidad natural y su relación con el bienestar social.
