Evaluar la utilidad diagnóstica de un sistema económico de telerradiología, empleado en EsSalud en el Hospital I Oxapampa del departamento de Pasco, Perú. Métodos. Se seleccionaron 50 pacientes quienes contaban con sus respectivas placas radiográficas obtenidas en el Hospital I Oxapampa, en 25 de los pacientes las placas radiográficas correspondían al sistema osteoarticular y en los otros 25, a pulmones. Resultados. En el grupo de pacientes con placas del sistema osteoarticular un diagnóstico certero, semejante al obtenido mediante el diagnóstico directo utilizando las placas radiográficas, fue obtenido en 24 de los 25 casos; parcial certeza se obtuvo en un caso, y no se reportó ningún caso en el cual no existió certeza diagnóstica. En el grupo de pacientes con placas pulmonares un diagnóstico certero fue obtenido en 22 de los 25 casos; parcial certeza se obtuvo en dos casos, y se reportó un caso en el cual no existió certeza diagnóstica. Un correcto diagnóstico de patología o no patología se obtuvo en un 100% de los casos correspondientes a placas del sistema osteoarticular y en un 96% en los casos correspondientes a placas pulmonares. Conclusión. El presente sistema económico de telemedicina sí es Mil para realizar telediagnósticos (diagnósticos a distancia) de imágenes radiográficas.With the objective of evaluating the diagnostic utility of an economic system of teleradiology, employee in EsSalud Hospital I of Oxapampa, 50 patients were selected with their respective radiographic plates obtained in the hospital, in 25 of the patients the radiographic plates corresponded to the osteoarticular system and in the other ones 25, to lungs. In the group of patients with plates of the osteoarticular system a good diagnosis, similar to the one obtained by means of the direct diagnosis using the radiographic plates, it was obtained in 24 of the 25 cases; partial certainty was obtained in a case, and any case was not reported in which diagnostic certainty didn't exist. In the group of patients with lung plates a good diagnosis was obtained in 22 of the 25 cases; partial certainty was obtained in two cases, and a case was reported in which diagnostic certainty didn't exist. A correct pathology diagnosis or no-pathology was obtained in 100% of the cases corresponding to plates of the osteoarticular system and in 96% in the cases corresponding to lung badges.
