El estudio tuvo por finalidad probar la relaciónque existe entre la gestión de recursos humanos con ladeserción estudiantil del Centro de Educación Básicapara personas con escolaridad inconclusa “El Guabo”,provincia de El Oro, Ecuador, 2016. La investigaciónfue de tipo aplicada sustantiva, con diseño descriptiovocorrelacional, enfoque cuantitativo. La muestra estuvoconformada por 33 participantes de Educación Básicapara personas con escolaridad inconclusa. Se recolectódatos mediante la encuesta, instrumento el cuestionario,el procesamiento fue explicado en tablas y figuras. Seprobó la hipótesis con el estadístico de rho de Spearman,obteniendo un valor r = 0, 616, p –valor < 0,05 para lahipótesis genera. Es decir, se tuvo evidencia estadísticapara rechazar la hipótesis nula y de aceptar la hipótesisalterna. Se concluyó que existe relación muy alta, positivay significativa entre la gestión de recursos humanos y ladeserción estudiantil en el centro de Educación Básicapara personas con escolaridad inconclusa “El Guabo”,provincia de El Oro, Ecuador.
The purpose of the study was to prove therelationship between human resources management andstudent drop-out from the Basic Education Center forpeople with unfinished schooling “El Guabo”, provinceof El Oro, Ecuador, 2016. The research was appliednoun, with descriptive correlational design, quantitativeapproach. The sample consisted of 33 participants ofBasic Education for people with unfinished schooling.Data was collected through the survey, instrument thequestionnaire, the processing was explained in tables andfigures. The hypothesis was tested with the Spearman rhostatistic, obtaining a value r = 0.616, p –value <0.05 forthe hypothesis it generates. That is, there was statisticalevidence to reject the null hypothesis and to accept thealternate hypothesis. It was concluded that there is a veryhigh, positive and significant relationship between humanresources management and student drop-out in the BasicEducation center for people with unfinished schooling “ElGuabo”, province of El Oro, Ecuador
