El estudio tuvo como objetivo determinar qué tanrelevante es la participación del director en el desarrollode las instituciones educativas, para ello se eligieron dosInstitutos Superiores Pedagógicos Públicos de Apurímacen el Perú y se desarrolló un trabajo comparativo. Lainvestigación fue de enfoque mixta CUAN – CUAL, básica,de alcance descriptivo, el diseño general fue anidadoconcurrente de modelo dominante (DIAC), el diseñoespecífico fue descriptivo comparativo de corte transversal.Para la rama CUAN se aplicó un cuestionario de encuestaa dos muestras de 05 profesores de cada instituto. Parla rama CUAL se aplicaron fichas de monitoreo a los 02directores de los institutos con respecto a las dimensionesde la gestión educativa: gestión pedagógica, gestióninstitucional y desarrollo personal del director. Para laprueba de hipótesis se utilizó la prueba t de Student dediferencia de medias aplicada a muestras independientes.La t calculada (tc) de -17,63 fue menor a la t de tabla (tt)de -1,99, por lo tanto, se concluyó que existe diferenciasignificativa entre la gestión educativa desarrollada por losdirectores de los Institutos. La media del ISPP “La Salle”de 2,187, fue mayor a la del ISPP “José María Arguedas”de 1,783.
The objective of the study was to determine howrelevant the director’s participation in the development ofeducational institutions is, for this purpose, two FocalizedPublic Higher Pedagogical Institutes of Apurimac werechosen in Peru and a comparative work was developed.The investigation was of a mixed approach CUAN - CUAL,descriptive in scope, the general design was concurrentlynested with a dominant model (DIAC), the specific designwas descriptive, cross-sectional, comparative. For theCUAN branch, a survey questionnaire was applied totwo samples of 05 professors from each institute. For theCUAL branch, monitoring sheets were applied to the 02directors of the institutes with respect to the dimensionsof educational management: pedagogical management,institutional management and personal development ofthe director. For the hypothesis test, the Student’s t-testof mean difference applied to independent samples wasused. The calculated t (tc) of -17.63 was lower thanthe t table (tt) of -1.99, therefore, it was concluded thatthere is a significant difference between the educational
