This too shall pass!

The article describes the appearance of COVID-19 in an unpredictable way on planet Earth and the consequences it has had for humanity, which was not prepared for a pandemic of this magnitude. It relates the psychological and material situation in which many children and young people --generation X, Y, Z -- lived before the pandemic and the consequences they have had to live in this experience of lockdown due to the quarantine imposed and what lessons can be drawn from the situation experienced. It also deals with the origin and form of spread of COVID-19, the possible political and economic interests that may have given rise to it, as well as the health policies implemented by different countries, and asks whether science is the solution. It concludes with a reflection on whether this threat can be reversed into an opportunity for humans to reflect and, after living this experience, learn to live in a more humane way and whether a new and better world order can be created for all.
El artículo describe la aparición del COVID-19 de forma imprevisible en el planeta Tierra y las consecuencias que ha tenido para la humanidad, que no estaba preparada para una pandemia de esta magnitud. Relata la situación psicológica y material en la que vivían muchos niños y jóvenes –generación X, Y, Z—antes de la pandemia y de las consecuencias que han tenido que vivir en esta experiencia de confinamiento de las casas por la cuarentena impuesta y qué enseñanzas se pueden extraer de la situación vivida. Así mismo trata del origen y la forma de propagación del COVID-19, de los posibles intereses políticos y económicos que lo han podido dar origen, así como de las políticas sanitarias implementadas por los países y se pregunta si la ciencia es la solución. Concluye con una reflexión sobre si la amenaza puede revertirse en una oportunidad para que los humanos reflexionen y, después de vivir esta experiencia, aprendan a vivir de forma más humana y se pueda originar un nuevo orden mundial mejor para todos.
