Urinary fractional excretion of estrogen in women with normal cycles

By using the Brown's procedure the authors have measured the urinary excretion of estrone, estradiol and estriol in a group of 10 normal women. Two peaks of excretion were observed: the first corresponding to ovulation and a second one in the luteal phase; both were significantly different of the values obtained in the first phase of the cycle.
Al utilizar el procedimiento del Marrón los autores han medido la excreción urinaria de estrona, estradiol y estriol en un grupo de 10 mujeres normales. Se observaron dos picos de excreción: el primero correspondiente a la ovulación y una segunda en la fase lútea; ambos fueron significativamente diferentes de los valores obtenidos en la primera fase del ciclo.
