"Shock" Septic: Clinical experience in Obstetrics and Gynecology

Twenty-six cases of patients who developed septic shock and who were diagnosed and treated according to a pre-set pattern is studied. Septic abortion importance as the leading cause of septic shock stresses. Negative microorganisms Klebsiella-Aerobacter and Escherichia coli. Emphasis is given to the importance of a therapeutic regimen based on the pathophysiology of shock, including a variable apmplitud surgical treatment, but applied early, in order to eliminate the infectious focus.
Se estudia veintiseis casos de pacientes que desarrollaron shock séptico y que fueron diagnosticados y tratados de acuerdo a un esquema pre-establecido. Se destaca la importancia del aborto séptico como la causa principal de shock séptico. Los microorganismos negativos Klebsiella-Aerobacter y Escherichia Coli. Se da énfasis a la importancia de un esquema terapéutico basado en la fisiopatología del shock, incluyendo un tratamiento quirúrgico de apmplitud variable, pero aplicado precozmente, con el objeto de eliminar el foco infeccioso.
