These are some of the questions that I attempt to respond by exploring not well known texts of Clorinda Matto de Turner, I talk about her journalistic articles, her traditions and legends, her reflections on various historical and social events in Peru and Latin America, without leaving aside her well-known novels.¿Cuáles son los problemas del Perú a fines del siglo XIX? ¿Cómo resolverlos? ¿Cuáles son las ideas de patria y de nación? ¿Cómo enfrentar las desigualdades y las relaciones de dominación y discriminación racial, de género y clase que afectan sobre todo a las mujeres y a la población «indígena»?
