Intellectual capital and knowledge management at the national university of San Marcos (2008-2010)

The main objective of the study is to determine the relationship between Intellectual Capital Knowledge Management mainly in the area of teaching and research at the Universidad National Mayor de San Marcos 2008-2010. To achieve the objective were used for analysis and synthesis methods and technique was applied to a sample survey of 100 professors of engineering and social sciences faculties and interviewed experts. The results indicate that the intellectual capital within the framework of knowledge management in universities is a matter of great importance as an essential resource for innovation and competitiveness and productivity demands imposed by the dynamics of the globalized world is not no substantive relationship between human capital, structural capital and relational capital in college, which is why there is greater productivity in innovation, research and development (IDI).
El objetivo central del trabajo es determinar la relación entre el capital intelectual con la gestión del conocimiento principalmente en el área de la docencia y la investigación en la Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos 2008-2010. Para el logro del objetivo se emplearon métodos de análisis y síntesis y se aplicó la técnica de la encuesta a una muestra de 100 profesores de las facultades de ingeniería y ciencias sociales y se entrevistó a expertos. Los resultados nos indican que el capital intelectual en los marcos de la gestión del conocimiento en las universidades es un tema de suma importancia como recurso esencial para la innovación y las exigencias de competitividad y productividad que impone la dinámica del mundo globalizado; se encuentra que no hay relación sustantiva entre capital humano, el capital estructural y el capital relacional en la universidad, razón por la cual no hay mayor productividad en la innovación, desarrollo e investigación ( I+D+I ).
