By doing this we could achieve a process of hospitalization as favourable as possible, which means, that the patients would not only receive medical treatment but they will also be able to continue their education, and have recreation as well. Up to this moment the importance of forming teachers in this field was not fully understood, as well as their capability of alternating between “formal classroom” and “hospital classroom”. Thus, the objective of this article is to help us to meditate and understand the necessity of creating bonds between these two atmospheres.El Aula Hospitalaria debe ser contemplada en nuestro país como una vía para poder hablar de una Educación Inclusiva, ya que se estaría asumiendo el desafío de integrarlos satisfactoriamente a la sociedad desde la misma realidad de los niños y/o adolescentes internados en instituciones médicas. De esta forma, lograríamos que el proceso de hospitalización sea lo más provechoso posible; es decir, que no solamente reciban un tratamiento médico sino que puedan continuar con sus estudios y cuenten con un espacio de recreación. Hasta este momento no se ha llegado a comprender la importancia de formar maestros que puedan alternar entre un contexto de “aula formal” y “aula hospitalaria”.
