FROM CAPACITIES TO MOTOR ABILITIES: FROM A SYSTEMIC HOLISTIC TRANSDISCIPLINARY APPROACH

It approaches the motor ontogenesis in all its dynamics. It conceives human motor learning as a functional system, where capacities, skills, habits and abilities, constitute the integral elements of this system. It analyzes in detail each one of the «sections» of the dialectic spiral which its evolution becomes, from its departure point: the capacity, to its destination the ability. The last one is identified as the maximum level of profit or experience at which the apprentice arrives after a long process from formation, consolidation and improvement. It considers the process of formation of abilities from a holística and transdisciplinar perspective. Even though one talks about the field of the sport motor action and intends to explain the process of learning and motor improvement, postulates that the underlying theory can generalized to any type of learning, independently of the discipline, the condition or the age of the subject-apprentice.
Aborda la ontogénesis motriz en toda su dinámica. Concibe el aprendizaje motriz humano como un sistema funcional, en donde capacidades, destrezas, hábitos y habilidades, constituyen los elementos integrantes de dicho sistema. Analiza en detalle cada uno de los «tramos» de la espiral dialéctica en la que se convierte su evolución, desde su punto de partida la capacidad, hasta el punto de llegada la habilidad. Identifica a esta última como el máximo nivel de logro o maestría al que llega el aprendiz después de un largo proceso de formación, consolidación y perfeccionamiento. Considera el proceso de formación de habilidades desde una perspectiva holística y transdisciplinar. Aún cuando se refiere al campo de la acción motora deportiva y tiene por objeto explicar el proceso de aprendizaje y perfeccionamiento motriz, postula que la teoría subyacente es generalizable a cualquier tipo de aprendizaje, independientemente de la disciplina, de la condición o de la edad del sujeto-aprendiz.
