lt is through variation that naturallanguages show their tendency to change.The Spanish language, as any naturallanguage, presents variants that affect its system,especially, the lexicon. Precisely, one of che reasons thar has originated such a linguistic phenotnenon is the contact with the Quechua language. Today it is possible to observewords incorpora red in the DRAE that, with some structural modifications, have increasedour lexical system. Su eh is the case with the word "cachaco", English "cap" (of theQuechuan "kachaku") that, modified slightly in its original structure, is known in theHispanic area by a semantic content in which there underlies a pejorative feature absentin the Quechua system.
Una característica inherente a las lenguas naturales es su propensión a variar. En lavariación se funda el carácter heterogéneo que presentan, al hacer resaltar su condiciónde lengua natural no estática.La lengua española, como cualquier lengua natural, presenta variantes que afectan susistema, sobre todo, léxico. Precisamente, una de las causas que ha.originado tal tenómenolingü[stico es el contacto que mantiene con el quechua. Hoy se puede observarpalabras incorporadas en el DRAE que, con algunas modificaciones estructurales, hanincrementado su sistema. Tal es el caso de la palabra cachaco (del quechua "kachaku")que, modificada levemente en su estructura original, es usada en el ámbito hispanocon un contenido semántico en el que subyace el rasgo peyorativo ausente en el sistemaquechua.
