Main factors in the continuity of family business

Given the importance of family businesses in the economy of different countries, and the scope of  these only 10% to the third generation, it is necessary to identify the main factors that affect the continuity of this type of companies. For this, it is necessary to review the literature in this regard, in order to identify the main factors that should be considered in the continuity of family businesses. In this respect the main topics proposed by leading researchers at an international level have been analyzed, and applied in the case of family businesses in Peru. It is a descriptive investigation based on documentary research. At the final part of the thesis, the main factors that should be considered in the continuity of family businesses will be identified.
Ante la importancia de las empresas familiares en la economía de diferentes países, y el alcance de sólo un 10% de éstas a la tercera generación, se hace necesaria la identificación de los principales factores que afectan la continuidad de este tipo de empresas. Para esto, se requiere hacer una revisión de la literatura al respecto, con el fin de identificar los principales factores que deben de ser considerados en la continuidad de las empresas familiares; analizando los principales temas propuestos por destacados investigadores a nivel internacional, para luego aplicarlo en el caso de las empresas familiares en el Perú. Se trata de una investigación descriptiva, realizada sobre la base de investigación documentaria al respecto. Al final de la misma, se identificarán los principales factores, los cuales deberían ser incluidos como variables en una tesis de investigación sobre la continuidad de las empresas familiares.
