The perspective of Peruvian university educational model based on competencies leads to new educational procedures and their evaluation. The architectural professional career in its process of adaptation requires implementing these procedures. The evaluation of the performance process of architecture students, especially in design workshops, has the rubric as a qualitative instrument used to describe their performance. The analytical rubric to evaluate the architectural project competencies in the design workshop was the objective achieved. Due to its descriptive scope it was a qualitative research, testing the rubric through the valuation method. The rubric was applied in the project issues, the architectural research, the architectural program and the representation of the final project, of the Design Workshop 10 in 2017-2 semester of the Public University of the Center of Peru. Objective: To optimize the process of prior evaluation in mergers and acquisitions in Peru. Method: It is a descriptive and correlational investigation. The comparative law was used as analysis methodology for the law projects under study. Results: In the analysis of the economic impact, the sample consisted of 1 750 companies according to annual sales value and economic sectors such as lawyer services and agroindustries. The results indicated that the Proposals of Application of Thresholds on Projects of Law lack foundation and it has been verified that its uniformly application might be ineffective to all the economic sectors. Conclusions: The improvement of the process of prior evaluation in mergers and acquisitions will create an environment of trust in the CEOs of Peruvian companies, strengthen the capital and securities markets and contribute to the sustained growth of the country ...

The research in the search for proposals that transform the teachinglearning process of Physics in pre-university education, had the objective of proposing a methodology that incorporates the project method in the teachinglearning process, to contribute to the development of motivation for the study of the subject Physics in the students and that they become the protagonists of their learning. For the development of the research, methods of collection and processing of the information gathered were used, within the latter, observation and survey stand out. The selected sample consisted of 196 students in the 10th grade of the “Capitan Roberto Rodríguez Fernández” Urban Pre-University Institute, located in the city of Santa Clara, Villa Clara, Cuba. The results obtained with the application of the methods showed that it is necessary to produce a transformation in the teaching-learni...

The educational research project Integration and Assessment of Contemporary Art Processes in the Design of Learning Environments was implemented during the 2022-2023 academic year in the Early Childhood Education Teacher Degree program. Conducted under the REDICE 2022 initiative, its primary objective is to design, execute, and evaluate a training proposal based on contemporary art creation processes. The project employed an experimental, mixed-method study through correlational research structured across five distinct phases. The findings indicate significant shifts in students' perceptions and interactions with contemporary art, with a majority recognizing it as a valuable resource for creating impactful learning experiences in Early Childhood Education.

To elaborate, review and correct a thesis project to choose the professional title is an important task. However, the fulfilment with the deadlines by those involved in the different stages of the process is not guaranteed by their busy work. The research objective was to implement an IC platform for the control of quantitative indicators of research management since 2018, allowing that interested parties know their performance indicators in fulfilment with deadlines, which impacted on the quantitative aspects of the review process. To that end, a study was made of the processes of the general regulation of research, identification of indicators and implementation of a platform for evaluation and monitoring of research projects from the registration process, review, notifications of changes of status to the presentation of tactical and strategic quantitative reports. Due to the fierce competition that businesses in this industry are engaging in to win difficult projects and improve their projection capabilities, construction projects are currently expanding significantly and adjusting to ongoing changes. Improvements in the management of construction processes are therefore encouraged to speed up project completion, save costs, and boost quality by the projects' baseline or scope. On the other hand, research reveals that common issues that arise during the execution stage include, among others, a lack of information, a lack of a foundational definition, and communication disruptions between departments. Most often, this results in the development of several Requests for Information, which hinders the beneficial flow of operations. Additionally, according to the standard procedure for these requests, a lengthy waiting period is necessary before receiv...

Purpose. This study investigates whether evaluation using artificial intelligence (AI) with a customized GPT model can be comparable to, or complementary to, human evaluation in graphic design projects created by master's degree students. Methodology. A total of 180 logos were evaluated over six years using a 10-item Likert scale rubric. Each project received a double assessment, one by human experts and one by AI. Results and Conclusions. The results show agreement in five categories between human evaluators and AI (e.g., originality, relevance) while, in another five categories (e.g., balance, design principles), AI tended to overvalue the works when compared to human assessment. The qualitative analysis of the AI’s feedback identified strengths, but also limitations. In conclusion, a hybrid human-AI evaluation could improve fairness and efficiency in creativity grading, although AI ...

This article describes the first step in a Teaching Innovation Project in Universidad de Santiago de Chile, which includes the project’s design and the methodological aspects required for its implementation and evaluation. Experts from different academic units will give students real translation assignments (specified in a translation brief) and will consult with them so as to contribute to the development of their thematic translation competence. This project will be implemented in the Specialized Social Science English-Spanish Translation course (4th year) of the Bachelor of Linguistics Applied to Translation degree program during the September 2017 semester. The proposal is based on contributions from Kiraly (2000) stating that the most effective way for students to develop professional competences is by offering them opportunities to interact with their classmates and with experts....

The Rorschach test has considerable potential to contribute to the study of cognitive processes, especially the representational world and of how individuals construct meaning. The representation of self and other is currently a major topic in attachment research and in social cognition and is very relevant for clinical psychology and psychiatry because it provides a way of understanding psychopathology that goes beyond the simple listing of manifest symptoms that is so prevalent today in descriptive psychiatry. This new emphasis on mental representation should enable us to extend our understanding of psychopathology and to discover new ways of systematically assessing a wide range of psychological disturbances.

The board of directors of a family-owned company that concentrates 35% of the market for the production and distribution of sports and orthopedic footwear for children and young people, thanks to its quality and technology, must decide on an investment proposal aimed at replacing obsolete files, taking into account the profitability of the investment, not its size. Following its policies and considering that the amount of the investment exceeds 5% of its net worth, the company hires an external consulting firm to make the final decision of the board of directors possible by preparing the analytical approach to the investment. This case aims to convey an overview of the activities involved in the evaluation of a specific investment project. The focus is on the importance of sufficient theoretical foundation to solve other problems, which makes it possible to understand that the performanc...

Several kinds of emerging technology have begun to be applied to food processes as prospective alternatives to conventional methods. Among these, ultrasound has been used. Despite the vast literature on the subject, some important aspects, including the sensory and hedonic perception of consumers towards this technology have not been properly addressed. In this study, consumer attitudes toward expected acceptance, pricing and purchase intention of guava juice processed with ultrasound technology were analyzed by using the conjoint analysis. The holistic perception of guava juice using projective mapping was also evaluated. The results indicate that consumers have greater acceptance and purchase intention for products that inform them of the benefits of the ultrasound process, while purchase intention was mainly influenced by the lowest price. Moreover, the product information regar...
